The first Square One Salon and Spa opened in 1999 in an underserved neighborhood in downtown Dayton. Our goal was to create a great salon and spa for guests to enjoy while providing a beautiful, creative environment for our team. It was important for us to deliver exceptional education, a 401(k), health insurance and other perks to our team—giving them a great place to work and support themselves and their families. We believe our guests include our team members and we strive to deliver the best experience for everyone. These ideals helped form our Four Corner Focus which includes Community, Charity, Customer Service and Culture.
As we grew, it was important to provide opportunities for key employees that have been with us from the beginning. We were able to offer these employees ownership. Our company grew from the three original owners (Doug, Brent and Josh), to eight that now include Alan, Angie, Canaan, Lori and Misty. We love what we do.
Our customers deserve our undivided attention, total satisfaction, and a permanent place as a member in our family.
Our strength lies in our community and we strive toward fostering its wellness and growth.
