Lori Davis
Director Stylist
Lori started with Square One in 2005 at our downtown Dayton salon. With more than 30 years of salon experience, Lori is both an American Board certified Master Hair Colorist and an Aveda certified Hair Colorist. A partner in the Square One Salon and Spa since 2015 she has been both an educator and mentor for the salon staff, facilitating the training of new stylists in the Square One Associates program. Prior to her tenure at Square One, Lori worked in Los Angeles and New York City providing hair and makeup styling for a celebrity clientele in the film and music industry. She looks forward to bringing her unique experience and knowledge to the central Ohio community. Lori specializes in natural looking healthy hair; whether it’s gray coverage or natural looking highlights. As a foundation of her practice, she works individually with each of her clients to craft a unique cut and color solution that takes into consideration each person’s specific lifestyle needs and physical characteristics, such as face shape, when creating a desired personal expression. As a color specialist, she is able to combine her experience and knowledge base in the science of hair and hair color with the incorporation of our Aveda sustainable plant-based product line, to create a customized, individual client experience. In support of a continually evolving creative industry, Lori seeks out and explores stylistic trends through on-going education and participation in industry events. In recognition of her commitment to the hair industry and to her ongoing commitment to her clientele, Lori was voted as “Top Hair Stylist” in 2023 by Dayton Chic magazine.
