If you’re like most of us, you’re ready for winter to be over and the warm weather to make an appearance. Sometimes, especially when spring seems impossibly far away, we need a pick-me-up. That can come in the form of a new haircut, hair color, a new outfit … or eyelash extensions. At Square One Salon, we offer lash extensions, an eyelash tint, or a lash lift. 

When our eyelashes, brows, and hair get subjected to dry, cold winter air, they can dry out, become brittle, and be prone to breakage. The colder temps and lower levels of humidity can affect the growth cycle of your lashes, causing them to shed and grow slower.

Beating the winter blues. We all need some time to pamper ourselves, especially when it’s miserable outside and we’re feeling a touch of the winter blues. A set of lash extensions or a lash lift & tint could be just what you need. 

Enjoy an elegant winter look. When we venture out in the cold, we’re typically wrapped up in warm, practical layers. Give off an intense and smoldering look no matter what you’re wearing with voluminous lashes that add a touch of elegance when you need it. 

Take a break from mascara. Research has shown that mascara can badly dry out and damage your natural lashes. When you enjoy a lash tint or extensions, you can give your lashes a break from the mascara while giving them a boost this season.

Staying warm in bed for just a few extra minutes. Waking up and getting through your morning routine can be tough in the winter. Refills may be needed less in winter. Since your natural lashes tend to grow slower in the winter months, the good news is that you may be able to go longer between refills than in the summer. Your Square One esthetician will be able to recommend the best time for refills based on your lashes.
